Halle Berry Stuns In White At 95th Academy Awards

Oscar winner Halle Berry attended the 95th Academy Awards on Sunday, March 12th, with her musician boyfriend Van Hunt in a stunning Tamara Ralph gown.

The actress was on hand to present the Best Actor and Best Actress trophies alongside last year's winner Jessica Chastain after Will Smith was banned from the ceremony.

Berry became emotional after Michelle Yeoh was announced as the winner. The moment was history-making given that Yeoh became the second woman of color to ever receive the Best Actress honor. The first was Berry, who won back in 2002 for 'Monster's Ball'.

Halle Berry Honored At 2021 Elle Women In Hollywood Event

On Tuesday (10/19) in Los Angeles, Halle Berry was honored as one of ELLE’s Women in Hollywood for her most recent movie Bruised, which she directs and stars in.

“I can't tell you what it means to be in this room and feel our femininity because it's palpable and it's real,” Berry said. “By watching you, I’ve been able to dream, I’ve been able to have a path made for a little Black girl from Cleveland.”

She also thanked Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins for “being a beacon and leading the way” for other women directors.

“You allowed me to know that maybe I could direct a film one day,” Berry said. “There are so many times where, as women, we don’t think we have the right to direct, we can only be the dancing fucking bear. Well, you know what? We can be more than the dancing fucking bear.”

Halle Berry Stuns At Star-Studded Academy Museum Opening

Academy Award winner Halle Berry was among the guests who came to the Academy Museum opening-night gala, a celebration designed both to honor actress Sophia Loren and Ethiopian filmmaker Haile Gerima and to show off the long-in-the-works museum, which opens to the public in Los Angeles on September 30th.

The actress was joined by her musician beau Van Hunt for the special occasion.

Halle Berry & Van Hunt Make Red Carpet Debut At 2021 Oscars

Debuting a new bob, Halle Berry attended the 93rd Academy Awards on Sunday, April 25th, with her musician boyfriend Van Hunt for their red carpet debut.

She presented the awards for Production Design and Cinematography, both to 'Mank'.

The actress, who will next be seen in her directorial debut 'Bruised', also has 'Moonfall' being released next year and will begin filming the sci-fi adventure 'The Mothership' in June.

Halle Berry Reveals First Official 'Bruised' Still

Blood, sweat and tears! All of that can be expected when Halle Berry's directorial debut 'Bruised', premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival next month.

In the upcoming story of redemption, the Academy Award winner plays Jackie “Justice,” a disgraced MMA fighter that lost at the one thing she’s good at. When her six-year-old son comes back into her life, she decides to fight for him to give him a good life and starts training to become the champion she was meant to be, and featival co-head Cameron Bailey has touted it one of the "very best performances of her career". The script is by Michelle Rosenfarb and the movie will be produced by John Wick producer Basil Iwanyk.

Halle Berry Returns To 'Bruised' Set After Minor Injury

Back in Action! A week after delaying production after suffering a small injury, Halle Berry was spotted filming scenes for her upcoming directorial debut 'Bruised', where she stars as a mixed martial arts fighter who is rebuilding her life and hoping to reconnect with her son.


The film has been filming in New Jersey, but they decided to postpone filming after Berry’s injury. "Halle got slightly injured in the fight," executive producer Brian Pitt told NJ Advance Media on November 19th. “Occasionally what’s going to happen is an actor might get a little injured, and we might adjust scheduling around them a little bit."

On Tuesday (November 26th), the actress seen in character sporting a prominent black eye and dressed in baggy sweats as she also provided some direction to a young actor.

Halle Berry Honored With Soundstage At Tyler Perry Studios

Halle Berry, who is still the only woman of color to win an Oscar for Lead Actress, was among the bevy of celebrities that attended the opening of Tyler Perry Studios on October 5th in Atlanta, Georgia, where she had one of the twelve stages named in her honor.

Halle Berry Brings Edge To LA Premiere Of 'John Wick 3'

Looking badass in leather, Halle Berry reunited with Keanu Reeves and the rest of the 'John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parbellum' cast at the Los Angeles premiere of the third installment at the TCL Chinese Theater on Wednesday, May 15th.

The ageless star wore a black leather Teresa Helbig romper which was unbuttoned to show off some cleavage, with a black belt around the waist and black stiletto heels.

Halle Berry Supports Keanu Reeves At His Hand/Foot Ceremony

On Tuesday (May 14th), Halle Berry was by her co-star Keanu Reeves' side as he was honored with a hand-and-foot print ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood, where the 52-year-old beauty looked great in a white and black Teresa Helbig dress that had a high collar and a large keyhole opening in front.

Also in attendance at the event were their co-stars Lance Reddick, Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, Asia Kate Dillon and Mark Dacascos.

Halle Berry Captivates At 'John Wick 3' Premiere In New York

On Thursday (May 9th), Keanu Reeves and Halle Berry were arm in arm as they attended the world premiere of their new film, 'John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum', in New York.

The Oscar winner captivated in a in a low-cut black jumpsuit with sheer halter panel that highlighted her curves and flashed her million dollar smile ahead of the screening.

In the third installment, the hitman is on the run with a $14 million contract on his head after killing Santino D'Antonio at the end of the previous film. He sets out to escape New York with the help of fellow assassin Sofia as an army of bounty-hunting killers close in.

Halle Berry Plugs 'John Wick 3' At CinemaCon In Las Vegas

Looking gorgeous and youthful, Halle Berry was shining in silver at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, where she was on hand with director Chad Stahelski to promote her new role in 'John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum', which hits theaters on May 17th.

"I got to train really, really hard, harder than I have ever trained," she said about preparing for the role. "I got to work at these guys one-on-one personally for five, six months. And that kind of training, you can’t buy. And you can’t certainly get to the level that I got to in five months. It takes two people two or three years. So I got all of this training under the guise of doing my work. And it was fun! Yeah, I got the intense version and it was amazing."

So, will she be in future John Wick movies? "I’m going to say yes, because I got the first job by doing that. So I’m going to say yeah, I’m all over the next one," Berry said on Thursday with the director Stahelski adding, "Her character Sofia is not going anywhere."

Halle Berry Stuns At 2019 Golden Globe Awards

Golden Globe winner Halle Berry attended the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 6th, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, where she was on hand to present an award with Lena Waithe, her fellow executive producer for the new BET series 'Boomerang', which is set to premiere on February 12th.

Last year, the age-defying star looked amazing in a short black lace dress by Zuhair Murad, and this year, she went with a body hugging burgundy gown from the designer, which landed on multiple best-dressed lists.

'John Wick 3': Halle Berry Walks The Desert With Keanu Reeves In New First-Look Image

Last month, Lionsgate released a new image of Halle Berry as Sofia, a new character Wick meets in the Middle East, in 'John Wick: Chapter 3', the third installment of the action franchise, which is set to be released on May 17th. Read more details beneath:

Entertainment Weekly: “She has a past with John,” says Reeves. “I end up going to find her to see if she can help me.”

Sofia has two Belgian Malinois dogs, continuing the tradition of canine-centric plotlines in a film series whose first entry, 2014’s John Wick, featured Reeves’ character going on a killing spree after the murder of his four-legged friend. “Whereas John’s puppy was symbolic of his wife, Halle’s two dogs are symbolic of someone she’s lost,” says director Chad Stahelski, adding that they developed an action sequence around her “canine assistants…. They work very well tactically.”

Halle Berry Hosts Imagine Cocktail Party For Jenesse Center

She has work with the center for nearly 18 years and last month, Halle Berry was given the tremendous honor of hosting the 2018 Imagine Cocktail Party for the Jenesse organization at the Wilshire Country Club in Los Angeles, California.

The Jenesse Organization is a center whose mission is to give shelter and services to men, women, and children who are victims of domestic abuse and violence.

"One in four women will experience domestic violence in their lifetime. This is why for 17 years, I have worked with Jenesse first hand to bring awareness to this life-or-death cause. I am proud of the achievements we have made to heal women, girls and families ravaged by violent homes and relationships,” the 51-year old said.

Halle Berry Previews 'John Wick 3' Character Sofia

Halle Berry is currently filming her role in the third installment of 'John Wick' and the actress delivered the first glimpse of her character Sofia, who is described as "a woman on a mission". In the image, she is accompanied by two canines, but it currently unknown whether is a friend or foe of Mr. Wick, who was left with a $14 million bound on his head.

'John Wick 3: Parabellum' is currently scheduled to hit theaters on May 17, 2019.
