Halle Berry Completes Filming Of LA Riots Drama 'Kings'

'Kings', the upcoming English-language debut from director Deniz Gamze Erguven, has officially finished filming. Halle Berry, who leads the cast with Daniel Craig, shared the news via Instragam occupied by a photo of her character Millie in the back of a police car.

The independent drama is expected to be released later this year with many saying it has awards season potential, but it is currently without a distributor in the United States.

Halle Berry Films LA Riots Movie 'Kings' With Daniel Craig (Photos)

In the first photos to surface of them together, Halle Berry and Daniel Craig were spotted filming their forthcoming historical drama 'Kings' on Thursday, February 2nd, where they were shown with their hands up surrounded by a cop car.

In the Deniz Gamze Ergüven film, Craig will play Ollie, one of the only white residents in South Central Los Angeles in the early 1990s. Ollie befriends Berry's character Millie, who is a foster mother, and they work together to track down the kids during the violence.

The first images of Halle Berry filming the upcoming independent drama 'Kings' have emerged and the actress looked intense on Tuesday, January 17th, as she filmed a scene where a male character was apprehended by police during a scene shot in Los Angeles.

Written and directed by Deniz Gamze Ergüven in her first English-language film, it follows a foster family in South Central as the Rodney King trial progress.
